HSE

HPS is committed to protect the health and to ensure the safety of all elements we confront; stakeholders in our operations, communities in which we operate and those who are in touch with our services or use our products.
HPS also employs best in class technologies and equipment to ensure people’s safety and environment’s protection, which make us confidents to our customers.
Wherever we operate, we will conduct our services with responsible environmental practices that lead us to a sustainable development and contribute to the success of our business.
The management team of our company aspires that people do not have a formal but a conscious and responsible attitude towards the issues of labour safety and industrial safety. This is achieved through active involvement of the personnel in solving HSSE questions. All staff have undergone special training.
Therefore, our company develops specialized programs and training courses in order to build a positive attitude towards security issues, to create a culture of safe work and to change the mindsets of the company and contractor employees

HPS, NOW HOLDS CERTIFICATES OF COMPLIANCE WITH INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS FOR ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY.
       (ISO 14001 :2015)
AND INDUSTRIAL AND LABOUR SAFETY OHSAS 18001 :2007).

THE STOP WORK POLICY

Every worker has the right to expect that all precautions are taken to ensure that he or she works in a safe and healthy environment.
This is the precept underlying HPS’s stringent HSE Policy.
A proactive reporting system is in place to identify unsafe conditions, unsafe behaviours and near misses.
Whilst there are highly specialised HSE professionals working on our projects, it is physically impossible for them to be everywhere at once.
Empowering people to stop work which they consider unsafe, actively engages all members of the projects in looking for potential problems.
In the simplest terms, the more people watching out, the more issues we can see.
After all, HSE is everybody’sresponsibility. In all our activities, we implement a safety policy that, following the indications of a specific procedure, is launched and communicated worldwide in all our projects and to all our employees and contractors: Stop Work Authority.
The outcome of the empowerment is of the increased cohesion, as it helps people to bond together and understand that everyone’s opinion is valued and appreciated.

Every employee of HPS and its subcontractors has the power and responsibility to STOP WORK whenever he or she feels that working activities are being carried out unsafely and there is a potential for creation of a dangerous situation, absolutely without any fear of being blamed.”
